We are doing great! Lena Kate is eating, pooping, and growing. She's a champ. She is a beautiful combination of her parents...or so we biased folks think. Stay tuned for Christmas outfit pics. I'm still a bit sore, but not even bad enough to take any meds.
She had her first pediatrician visit and got a great report. Her doctor said we could leave her there if we wanted to. We graciously declined.
This morning we went on our first shopping adventure - Babies R Us, Penney's, and Target - briefly at each store. She slept the entire trip. What a good little girl.
We even got some sleep last night and Daddy has been great :)

Call me after things settle down. I want a play by play of the entire experience. I am so sorry about the emergency...but isn't it nice to be able to let go, let God and these wonderful angels of doctors take care of everything. So happy you are home? How is breast feeding...I so hope that works for you. Also, hang in there...after 5 years of being a mother, one thing is for sure...You'll never sleep as much as you once did. HOWEVER, enjoy this time...she naps and sleeps a ton...so should you! Caden doesn't nap anymore...I mourned the day that ended.

She seems like such a content little girl :-) Wow, I am impressed that you battled the Christmas Eve crowds with a newborn...you're a trooper!! I'm glad you're recovering well and able to get out of the house fairly easily! Hope to see you soon :-)
