A little behind

I'm a little behind with my blogging, so we are going to take a little trip back in time...a whole week! The weekend before last we packed up and headed to San Antonio for a visit with Leelee and Grandpa as well as Uncle Trent and Aunt Nancy. It was so nice to see the family as a family. Lane hadn't been able to see them in quite awhile since he'd been busy working tons of hours during tax season. Of course, the star of the show was Lena Kate. We met them all at the hotel and spent the day chasing Lena Kate and visiting over lunch and drinks. Later that evening we headed over to La Canterra for dinner and possibly a pair of sunglasses. Lane needs to get a new pair, but we had quite the experience with a loud couple demanding their money back with a very fishy story. The sad part of it all was that they were setting a horrible example for their teenage daughter that was with them. I'm glad Lena Kate was too young to understand. Nancy took her out of the store and we all ended up leaving without a possible purchase due to the scene. I pray that this couple realizes how wrong their behavior was. On a happier note we had a great dinner at Yard House and it was nice to spend time together. We miss our weekend get-togethers and I'm sure they do to. Sunday morning we woke up to a yummy breakfast fixed by Nancy....and I think Trent supervised:) It was a lovely Mother's Day treat for me. Lena Kate got me a cute card...funny thing was that it was in Spanish-haha. I understood it after a little bit of studying. It was a wonderful weekend and I'm so thankful for such wonderful family and the memories made.

Splashing in the fountain was LK's favorite thing to do
So tired she laid out a napkin for a pillow and took a chill on the hotel floor, where was her mother?! (she missed the napkin)

Have a blessed week!
