Aunt Amy's turn to play. I still can't get over all of Ainslee's soft hair. I love to play with it.
Lena Kate LOVES to hold and KISS Ainslee. She is ALWAYS leaning in for a kiss and so far been pretty gentle, but we watch her pretty closely.
Leelee came for the week, this past week. Both girls loved having her here. She played with Lena Kate until she could hokey pokey no more and managed to spoil Ainslee with lots of chest naps:) I don't blame her, I have to get at least one in a day. Thanks Leelee for the great week. We love you!
This was before our trip to the Aquarium.
I'm pretty sure Pastor Patti LOVES babies and Ainlsee loved this nap.
Swimming is a must on the 4th of July!
Aunt Carla and Uncle Chili came for a visit. They are going to have a son in November and we all can't wait for them. They are going to be great parents. We had a great weekend that included lots of fun baby snuggling, 4th of July partying, guy time for Lane and Chili, and relaxing for the girls!
Carla got lots of practice in and had Ainslee in her arms 1/2 of the time they were here :)
Uncle Chili did lots of Lena Kate entertaining including giraffe rides
Cheese!!!! Uncle Chili ROCKS!
Lena Kate wanted to paint, don't ask me how the paint ended up on her mouth!
A visit from the Jones' - sweet Burnley and her precious blue eyes!
More play time with cousins
Hi Mama!
There have been lots of good naps around here. Ainslee pretty must sleeps
most of the time, when she's not eating and pooping, that is.
The full story-Missy thought this was a good spot, so did Ainslee!

We had a fun birthday party for Daddy Lane, Aunt Amy, and Aunt Lorain, complete with singing, and yummy Dr. Pepper cake and homemade ice cream.

Oh, hello Sister.
What's the matter Sister?
She's so cute.
This is my baby sister, Ainslee, Ainslee Lane. (She wants to show her baby sister to EVERYBODY)
She shh's her when she is whining and must hug and kiss her goodnight every night.
Ainlsee is a good baby so far, she grunts and flails around alot after 2am which makes sleep for Mama and Daddy a little hard, but we are working on solving that problem. I think it is just gas and poop issues and she doesn't go as easy at night. After nursing, I work her legs until she poops and toots a little and this usually puts her more at ease. I'm tired, but it isn't too bad if I get a nap in when both girls are napping. I feel so much better than when I was pregnant, so I won't complain! Now, I can't wait for clearance from my doctor to start working out again to get all these lbs. off! We've ventured to the grocery store a few times and had success except I don't much room in the cart with LK in the front and the carseat across the back. I have to move the car seat to put larger items in. I told Lane maybe I would buy less this way-not likely was the response.
At Ainslee's 2 week appt she was 8lbs 5oz and 21 and something inches, right at the 50% range for both.
