Beachin it in January.

A few weeks ago Gus (my brother) and Charles (nephew) came down for a few days and we decided to all pile in with my parents and go to the beach in Port Aransas for the day. We let the kids run the beach for awhile. It wasn't the warmest day we've had recently, but the kiddos still enjoyed looking for shells and running, and running, and running...and scaring away the seagulls. It sure is nice to be an hour from the coast. We then had fried shrimp for lunch and stopped at the bookstores in Corpus on the way home.
The 5 minutes ferry ride to the island.
Like father, like son
Love these two guys...Gus had his eyes closed-oops, posted the wrong one!
Charles was willing to pose-thanks little buddy!
She was not! She would NOT stop running for me.
Looking for sand dollars with Papa. Those two kiddos love each other! They are almost always this close to each other.
What a fun day :)

Man, I could really go for some fried shrimp. But, I promise that isn't my favorite part of this post! ;) So sweet to have such a good cousin friend!
