Life is Good, Tax Season is over

Another April 15th has come and gone, and we are thankful around here to have Daddy around more.

We had a great Easter surrounded by family and have just been living the good life.  Lena Kate is growing up before our eyes as is Ainslee.  Ainslee is talking up a storm these days as she nears her 2nd birthday.  Full sentences sometimes.  A few nights ago she told Missy, "Don't drag Booty, Meme."  Good one.  She loves to be silly at the dinner table and refuses to sit still and eat.   She has finally crossed the 20 lbs mark and may be 21 on a really heavy day.  Miss Lena Kate is a sassy talker as usual.  Both girls love to go riding and feed cows over at Mimi and Papa's.  Lena Kate likes everything to be a race, and to win.  At dinner if she is close to done, she decides it is a race.  If she is refusing to eat, or eat fast enough, she declares, "It is NOT a race."

We have been to stock shows and fairs and made a fun trip to San Angelo to visit LeeLee and Paw and to go to the San Angelo rodeo.  Both girls loved it and drew the clown's attention.  We went back to the carnival and LeeLee and Paw spoiled the girls with games and rides.  Lena Kate is still scared of everything except the train and merry go round.  Ainslee wasn't even a fan of the merry-go-round.  They did come home with stuffed bananas, cows bears, and more...oh boy!

I haven't been great at breaking out the camera, but here are a bunch from the last few months.
