Fun Day

We had a fun day yesterday. Lena Kate and I met Amy and Charles in the park for a walk then we took some pizzas up to the VW dealership for Gus's crew. You can't beat 3.99 for a large pizza at Little Ceasar's. You can't make a pizza or buy a decent frozen one for that price. Check out customer appreciation Tuesdays. It is a cheap treat if you are on a budget. Then Amy and Charles took us to lunch at DOUGH. It is a "fancy" pizza place, but casual dining if that makes sense. The pizzas were fancy, not the atmosphere. We sat on the patio and had a yummy salad and Margharita pizza. It was perfectly delightful. Then Lena Kate and I ventured to Walmart for a significant haul of groceries. I sure didn't think we needed that much, but I also got ingredients for lasagna and enchiladas since I plan to make those in the next two weeks...yummy, but not so good for you. I'll just be good the other 2 meals and work out!

Here are just a few snapshots. Lena tried out her Bumbo this week. She isnt' totally comfortable in it yet. She's still a little wobbly with that big ol nogan....more tummy time I guess.

Thanks to everybody for the warm birthday wishes. Lane brought home wings for dinner...per my request - fancy way to celebrate 30, I know! I also got my jogging stoller ordered! YEA...so much thanks to LK's grandparents - both sets for pitching in with birthday cash so it didn't break the bank. I can't wait to get it and give it a try.
