I was looking for a random pic to post. Here is a one from our trip to Antigua. I guess our next vacation will need to be kiddo friendly. We may still try to find a good beach-hopefully LK will like the beach.
Bottle Update:
I got a new bottle with the same nipple as her pacifier. She will suck on it a little, then she realizes it is a bottle and that milk is coming out. She refuses to swallow as she gags on the milk. We'll keep on trying. I do think it is progress that she doesn't gag on the nipple and will suck and play with the bottle after her tummy is full. Now it is just getting her to like the bottle when she is hungry. She is still winning the battles, but we will win the war. I'm not sure if that was a good analogy, it seems so violent when I read back through it, but it is accurate in that we will eventually get it all figured out. God is teaching us patience and gratitude. We need plenty of patience to work through our difficulty and graditude for him giving us such a good baby. If she only screams when we try to give her a bottle, I think we will be alright.

One more thing I learned on this subject...watch the speed with which the milk comes out of the bottle. Logan had a learning curve on the swallowing of the milk b/c it came out much quicker from the bottle than me....??? Other than that...Good luck. She'll figure it out!
