Our week

We had a great time last week. We started off by having Mimi in town so we pretended to be tourists and took Lena Kate and Cousin Charles downtown to the IMAX to see the dinosaurs movie. Charles would put the 3-D glasses on and as soon as a dino came out he would take them off really fast and so NO GLASSES. He did ok with them off though. Lena Kate loved the
movie...the sounds and colors on such a big screen kept her interest. After the movie we had lunch on the riverwalk and took a few pics.
This weekend I ran in the Beach to Bay Relay in CC. Mimi and Papa babysat Lena Kate so I could run. I ran my 4.5 mile leg in about 44 minutes and never walked...so I was happy with that. The entire marathon took our team 4:36. I think we did great:) I ran with my good friend Monica and her family members, plus one lady from her work. Kathy made our shirts so we would be unique in a group of 2400 other teams. Yes, there was quite a crowd. It was 11 am before I ran, so it was quite warm. I took a glass of water and poured it over my head at several of the water stops, pretending to be a real marathon runner. It felt good to cool off my beet red face! I was a little sun-burned, but not too bad. We spend the rest of the weekend relaxing at Mimi and Papa's and came home to see Daddy yesterday afternoon.

Hope everyone has a good week. We'll be packing and getting ready for our vacation in Rockport next week - YEA, can't wait.
