This is how the cardiologist described Lena Kate's heart murmur after an EKG and ultrasound. Hip-hip-hooray! I was at peace and not near as nervous as I thought I would be for her appointment which just goes to show that the Great Physician has us wrapped safely in His care. I pray for those parents of heart babies and the sweet little ones themselves. God has a markedly different plan for them but thankfully is always there in the storm. I'm just very thankful that we got a clean bill of health this morning and we won't even have to go back for a follow-up visit. Now the only problem we have is eczema, but we've got a battle plan for that including, but not limited to, Aquaphor, Aveeno Hydracortizone (sp?) and several other tips if these don't work. We are also going to stay in out of this EXCESSIVE Texas summer heat since it really seems to exacerbate the problem.
We went to Tetco to visit my old work friends for a potluck lunch. It was nice to see everyone and Lena Kate got lots of grief today for wearing her Texas A&M outfit. She sure did look cute though.! Here is a pic in her outfit from a few weeks ago.
How can you not think this little darling is cute?!

Praise the Lord! I'm so glad to hear she got a good report from the Dr's. Even though we choose to believe the report of the Lord first and foremost, it's a great and wonderful feeling when the Dr's say all is well. We'll be praying you're able to get a handle on the eczema. Do children typically outgrow it?
