Thanks for the prayers for little Corley, he's doing great and hopes to be going home soon. GOD IS GREAT AND THE ALMIGHTY ONE! When an accident happens to someone you love so dearly, or really anybody you hear about, it makes you just hug your babies a little tighter...go grab your munchkin now and plant a few kisseroos on them.
We've played alot this week, which is nothing out of the ordinary for us. We also had our first South Texas play date-yea! Julie and little JC Laechelin came over after she got off work and they kiddos played. JC is 2, so he was more into playing with LK's toys than Lena Kate herself, which is fine. Lena Kate just loved to watch him with wide-eyes. He's a precious boy with lots of energy and and loved her shopping cart. I really enjoyed getting to visit with Julie and just have a good conversation in between wrangling kiddos with someone in the same stage of life as myself. I miss my San Antonio girls and their babes so it was sure nice to work on building a new relationship down here.
Young lady, I don't think you belong in the coffee table.
But Mama, I fit just fine. I'll get out in a minute
Lovin Missy...poor Missy. I guess she gets everything that dog deserves!
Yea for visitors :)
Love those eyelashes-LK's, not Missy's
Daddy's boots are her security blanket, Lena Kate plays with them every day, and usually leaves a surprise in one of them for him...tehe...brush, ball, spoon, cereal. I do not remove them. This day she decided to take a little rest on the boot. SILLY GIRL.
Lena Kate is also excited because Cousin Charles is coming for the weekend at Mimi and Papa's! I think we may bake a bear cake for him. He got us a build-a-bear pan for Christmas and have been waiting for him to come so we could use it.`
Hope yall have a blessed day!

It's so good to have people close by to visit with! Love the pics of LK and Missy, too cute! Quade needs a boy sized dog. I've read so many stories here lately that just make me want to hug my family close, bad things happen to good people, it's a sad fact of life, so I treasure the moments with my darlin's. Cracked up about LK and her Daddy's boots, Q is the SAME way, once Dadda is home, Q has his boots in hand, and takes them EVERYWHERE! They're usually covered in mud, so that doesn't last long...and B's nice boots have a bright orange pad on the bottom, and for the longest time Q was fascinated w/ licking it. GROSS!!!
Hmmm, maybe you need a wee countertop sized butcher block cutting board?? :)
Sounds so fun! I wish I had some girls with kiddos close by. As it is, I have to be happy with long blogging and facebook. :) It would be nice to actually get together in person sometimes.
And thank the Lord! :)
Lol...scratch the 'long' ;)

This is Charla, posting from my school blog account...I'm too lazy to sign out and log back in.
So, how's this for a small world story? I come to your blog to read your latest post and see a picture of JULIE, whom I used to work with at the bookstore on campus. Did you know Julie at A&M? You said "San Antonio girls" so I didn't know for sure.
So crazy! When I saw the picture I immediately recognized her! I have some pictures somewhere of all of us bookstore nerdies together when she got her BELLYBUTTON pierced! HA!
