Bath and Basket Baby

Lena Kate got a new bathtub. It is great pink ducky. She loves her bath time and never wants to get out. Now that she can sit up like a big girl, I was excited to move her to the bathtub, or rather a tub in the tub. She just splashed, and smiles and eats her bath toys while I bath her. She just as soon not get all soaped up, but she smells just delectable when she is all clean. I could just gobble her up. Now that she bathes upstairs in her bathroom in addition to sleeping upstairs in her room, she also got to sport her robe. What a cutie, if I say so myself. With moving her upstairs and all I feel like she's gone through her first graduation of sorts. It makes a momma sad that her baby is growing up. She is still doing well on sleeping in her bed, but hasn't made it ALL night without waking up yet. She did, however, make it from 8:30 until 4:30, then back to sleep until 7:45. That has been her best night so far. Say a few little prayers that the little angel baby learns to sleep through the night. She also does this funny thing where she goes to bed at 8:30, sleeps for an hour, wakes up and cries for a bit, I comfort her and she drifts right back to sleep. It is as if she just wants to check that I'm still around.

I've waited a long time to take these pictures. Mom took pictures of me around Lena Kate's age in this basket and I've kept it all these years just waiting for a baby girl of my own to pose in it. I've used it for many things, but taking pics of LK is by far the best. Don't you agree? I think some turned out pretty cute. I'm not positive, but I think my fav is the one I now have as my blog header. I think I may have to blow that one up for a framer, as well as the one she is eating the rim. She didn't like being outside...it was a little wobbly, so I didn't get too many in the green grass. I did have bloomers on her, but I'm not sure why I decided to take these sans clothes...maybe I'll take some with clothes on too.
