Our Saturday was FUN FILLED! We started out at our friend Fieby's place for a fun swim and burgers at the pool. I managed to eat lots of watermelon and other goodies Fieby had prepared. She had quite the spread for just 3 of us plus 2 little ones..one of which doesn't eat big people food yet. My other friend Teri and her cutie boy Trevor joined us. I was so excited to get to visit with my friends from Tetco. I've been fortunate to work with such wonderful people. Here are a few pics from our day at the pool.
We finally headed home after 5 and met up with Daddy and Uncle Trent and Aunt Nancy for a fried venison dinner. Daddy is a superstar venison fryer. I also baked 2 loaves of zucchini bread which we are still working on. I have to restrain myself...don't kid yourself, it is not good for you with that 2 cups of sugar and 1 cup of oil....oh, no to mention the cup of chocolate chips! Oh, and Aunt Nancy got a cute haircut...shoulder length with cute layers. I called it her married cut....after you let it grow really long for the wedding, you just feel like you need something swingy and fresh for the summer. I just love it.
Trevor swimming..such a happy lil guy. It was cute, he was quite concerned that Lena Kate wasn't going to eat a hamburger with us.

These 2 LOVE my baby girl..and I love them. They got her the cute ladybug swimsuit and accessories.
After that Lena Kate and I through on our pre-swim clothes and ran out to La Conterra to meet up with Jessica who has recently moved to Virginia to be with her husband stationed there with the Marines. I was so happy to get to see her and she is as sweet as ever. She also introduced me to Gilly Hicks. If you are looking for some soft fun PJ's you have to check this place out. I was loving it...but didn't buy anything. I'm proud of myself actually. Don't let that be any indication of what I really wanted to buy--just about everything. Pretty colors and did I mention soft! Lena Kate enjoyed getting to see Jess too...she is a follower of our blog and keeps up with us that way and we are thankful for our readers:) (and our wonderful friends!)

Now for some very important big girl news: Lena Kate is now sleeping in her very own room. She has done great the first 2 nights. This past night she slept the longest ever-8 hours...then I fed her and she went back to sleep for another 3! Can you say, "YIPPPPPPEEEE" Maybe I should've moved her out of our bed sooner, but it was somewhat hard to part with her sweetness being so close:) I have a great video monitor. I woke up wondering why she had not woke up and it is fun get to peek in on her without actually being there. I can turn the volume up on the monitor and actually hear her breathing, ah such a sweet little sound.
Just how exactly do you get yourself in these positions Lena Kate?

Apparently it is a lot easier to get yourself in here, than out.
