Chunky Monkey

Today Lena Kate had her 2 week checkup. Aunt Amy went with us. When LK was 4 days old she weighed 7lbs. Today she weighs 8 lbs 11 ozs. No wonder she is outgrowing the Pampers newborn diapers. I'd say she is getting enough to eat! I knew she was growing, but didn't think it was that much. She still has long skinny arms and legs...so I'm not sure where the 2 lbs went. I guess her "little" cheeks and her belly:) She is around the 60th percentile in her weight, height, and head size. She is up from 25% in weight...surprise, surprise. Dr. McCray said she was doing great and gave us some feeding pointers to get her on a better schedule...fingers crossed it will work. It isn't bad, she just likes to snack rather than have a full meal....or that was the case yesterday - each day is different. Today she has done what she should every 2.5 hours-YEA. I feel kind of silly saying that is it sad that she will never be as small and cuddly as she is today....or was 2 weeks ago when she was born. I know there are so many more memories to be made, but just can't seem to get enough of her each day as she is right now. I'm afraid I'll forget or miss something I guess. I'll add a few pics in awhile.
