Sarah is coming!!!

My best friend Sarah is coming in tonight to spend the weekend with us and see Lena Kate. We are so excited. It has been over a year since we've seen each other-wayyyyy too long. We both had a very busy year. This morning we are baking cookies and we made pistachio pudding salad, sometimes known as Watergate salad, as a special request from Sarah. I haven't made this since very early on in my pregnancy. I think I was only about 7 weeks along. It didn't taste very good then, but NOTHING did, so I'm excited to have a big bowl with Sarah. We are just going to hang out and visit. I didn't make any big plans since LK is so little still. We may venture out to the mall if the weather is decent.

I'm going to be a professional window shopper. I have so many clothes already so I don't need anything...only problem is that nothing fits. I guess that is motivation to get back in shape ASAP. I have lost 1/2 the baby weight, but have a long way to go. I still have a little soreness if I twist the wrong way or stretch too much, so I'm taking it easy for another week since the doc said 3-4 weeks before really doing anything. Lena Kate and I did take a walk yesterday, but it wasn't too long. I guess it is better than nothing and the weather was so nice.

Here is a pic of Ms. LK as she slept all day long yesterday. Today she's decided to be a bit vocal. It is a good thing the cookies are done. I think she is spoiled already...oops. She wore her cowboys outfit, but since they didn't even make the playoffs she won't be able to cheer them on as we all hoped. She also had her cowboy booties on. I just love them and the actually stay on--most of the time.
