I follow Kelly's Korner, a fellow blogger that has a huge following. She posts great practical recipes. I tried this one and wanted to share it was so good! I'd post the link in this text, but I don't know how to do that. I'll have to ask someone. Cowgirl at Heart...help me. I want to post a link in my text labeled with text other than the address. Did that make sense? Anyway, here is the recipe.
Swiss Chicken and Dressing
4 boneless skinless chicken breast
1 can cream of chicken soup
6 oz Swiss cheese (mozzarella can be used too, but Swiss is best)
1/4 cup white wine
1 cup crushed Herb Seasoned Dressing
1/2 stick butter
salt and pepper to taste
Wash and dry breasts and place in baking dish. Salt and pepper to taste, but be careful not to add too much salt because the soup is salty as well as the stuffing:) Top chicken with Swiss cheese. Mix soup and wine and pour over cheese. Crush dressing if it is already crushed and sprinkle over the soup mixture. Melt butter and pour over the dressing mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. This takes about 5 minutes to throw together and is really tasty. Great leftovers too.
Lena Kate is now the queen of rolling over and as soon as I put her down on her back, she immediately rolls over. It is like she just can't lay on her back and play for even a few seconds. Legs up, roll over. Legs up, roll over. Legs up, roll over. This is what she knows. Then she doesn't like being on her tummy for long. She gets herself into that predicament, but can't get out. It is kinda funny, but I get nothing done like I intend when I put here down to play. I just have to keep rescuing her because she starts whining:)
Eating her bib....her new favorite food.
Bright-eyed boucin beauty...how's that for alliteration?
Aren't these the cutest little footsies?
Just look at that face...doesn't it just melt your heart?
My new shoes...I get way too excited when I get new runners! Aren't the puuurrrrty? I guess pics of feet is a theme this week.
Lena Kate had her first case of diaper rash. Red behind, real tears and splotchy red face make a Momma's heart hurt. I let her bottom air out and lathered on some Desitin with every diaper change last night and all day day. It is MUCH better thankfully and doesn't seem to be bothering her at all.
Yesterday we went to the Tetco picnic where I got to show off Lena Kate to many of my old co-workers. I also played volleyball and discovered I really am getting old. I wasn't near as good as I used to be. I didn't have ANY practice and haven't played in years therefore I couldn't even get an overhead serve over the net. Good thing my underhand was still EGGcelent-not that it helped us win. We lost 2 matches and won one. I think we were robbed on the first one because I didn't go for a serve that hit the net and then they decided to inform us that they counted serves that hit the net. What kind of volleyball is that!? It's not TENNIS! I so could've gotten to it and it was game point! I will forever say we were robbed! I did get a T-shirt out of the deal, and free is good these days. For those of you at TETCO that may peruse this blog on occasion, it was great to see you...and those that didn't go - shame on you. You missed a good time and great weather. We had a great time crashing the party. Shame on me for not taking pics. My sweet friend Karen held LK while I played vb. She took a nap in her lap. She was very content...I think Karen was too :)

Okay, I figured out the link thing so you can too....I think when you insert the link you have to type in the text you want in the code...
Not much help, I'm sure but try it.
Also, I hate to push off my mommy preferences but BOUDREAUX is the bomb and way better than Desitin!!!
Logan has had some of the world's worst rashes...he calls boudreaux's his tickle medicine...he walks like a cowboy when he is really hurting...
